They say dress for the job you want, and I want to be a sometimes dirty from dog playtime dog person! I enjoy quiet evenings in, bawling over "dog reunited with owner" videos, as well as hiking and general outdoor activities with my own dog. I take my dog everywhere I go, and I often take my friends' dogs on outings as well. I've never not had a dog! I frequently volunteer at the shelter and one of my first jobs was at a pet store where I learned a lot about dog nutrition and I've had experience working in a vet clinic as well. I have pet sitting experience and mountains of general dog knowledge including what not to do/feed/what do to in emergency situations. My schedule is currently completely open and I have reliable transportation.

Rachel is definitely a loving dog caregiver. Every time I see her we end up talking about animals. If there is an animal around, she is the first to go over and love on it. She is responsible, caring, and loves to interact and play with animals, especially dogs. Would recommend her to watch your four-legged babies!
My husband and I have a hyperactive black lab and an older corgi mix and it's always such a pleasure to come back from our frequent trips to Branson knowing that Rachel took care of our little darlings. Rachel is a friend to all dogs. She loves meeting new dogs and finding out the ways they like to play. She also knows a lot about dogs' health and nutritional needs. Rachel is responsible and experienced with taking care of other people's pets. She would be a great dog sitter.

A typical day
If your dog is dog-park-able, then dog parks are a personal favorite. We can walk around the neighborhood or go to a park, hiking trail, or maybe splash around in a creek. I live on Mount Secoyah and it's a really great neighborhood for dog walking!
