About this sitter: I am a long time animal lover who has combined 13 years experience in personal and professional animal care. I treat your pets as if they were my own. I honor all house rules and training history in order to provide continuity and stability to your pets routine.

Rachel is great!! She took great care of my cat and always sent photos and was very kind and did an awesome job keeping her litter clean. I came home to a happy cat?
Rachel was amazing! So thoughtful, kind, and communicative. My pups were so relaxed when we returned from our trip. We got great pics from her, too. ❤️
In theory, Rachel could be an adequate sitter for an adult dog that does not require any special accommodations or care. For anything beyond that, we strongly recommend you do not use her services. We engaged Rachel to watch our 10-week old puppy, Willow, so that we could unfortunately attend a family member’s funeral out of state. Our initial impression of Rachel was positive: we met with her a few days before the booking and, despite the family loss we were dealing with and the anxiety of leaving our brand-new puppy for 24 hours, Rachel made us feel that Willow would be well cared for. Rachel made a variety of promises to us: (1) she would be with Willow the entire time, aside from a (maximum) 2-hour birthday party she planned to briefly attend, which we agreed to; (2) she would maybe bring over 1 of her dogs to briefly meet and socialize Willow; and (3) she would follow the detailed schedule we provided her to keep our puppy on routine. Rachel absolutely failed on all 3 accounts, with the following details 100% verified by our outdoor cameras. First, she left our house and left Willow locked in her crate for 3.5+ hours three separate times, back-to-back. Willow was essentially locked in her crate the entirety of the day. Anyone that has ever had a puppy knows this is completely unacceptable and harmful to the puppy (especially someone like Rachel, a former vet tech). Additionally, she brought over 2 dogs to spend the night in our home (which we NEVER agreed to and she never informed us about, even after the fact), and even brought another person into our home without our consent. As for the schedule, she did not follow it at all and was even gone from our house during the times she was supposed to be playing/feeding Willow (again, confirmed by the cameras). Finally, we paid her until 10pm and she deliberately left the job 3 hours early without asking or even informing us, despite discussing personal commitments well ahead of time. As mentioned, our security cameras tracked every detail of her comings and goings, who she let into our home, when she let Willow out to use the bathroom, and for how long she would leave the house. We sadly came home to Willow covered in her own urine, crying and traumatized. We informed Rachel to that, and she showed absolutely zero remorse. Even weeks later, Willow is still terrified of being in her crate from the neglect she experienced in the short time with Rachel. We not only are disappointed, but we feel betrayed. As a former Rover sitter myself…Rachel should be absolutely ashamed of herself for neglecting our puppy so badly that she developed an inflamed bladder (stress cystitis), a UTI and a horrible stress rash. We are shocked to see any positive reviews for Rachel given our experience, and even more shocked she was ever a vet tech given her treatment of our puppy.
Rachel is the best! Always takes amazing care of my pup. I know storm is in good hands anytime she’s with her.

Goals with house sitting: -Your pet's schedule and environment is kept the same so as to reduce stress from change. I will stay with your pet overnight and keep your home clean and tidy. My goal is to make sure your pet is cared for and leave little trace that I was there. Goals with boarding: -I have 3 dogs of my own, all who have been around other dogs their whole lives. No matter the energy level of your dog, I will have a buddy to match. Luna is a calm senior girl who like to hang out. Grace likes to be playful on occasion, and Tyson will run and play as long as he has a friend. If your dog is younger and playful, I want to send them home happy and tired! I have small, but fully fenced in backyard.

Information Rachel B. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if a dog is housebroken, what commands they know, and if they are sensitive to any food/treats. It is also helpful to know any personality quirks such as a sensitivity to being touched, loud noises, timidness.
A typical day
We can take walks around my neighborhood or play fetch in the yard. If your dog is high-energy, I like to take them on runs.
