Pet care experience
I live in a Tribeca and would love to support the pet owners in NYC who need a little extra help making sure their dog is cared for, such as more attention and multiple walks per day. When owners get their dog back, I hope that I will have made a difference in the happiness of their pet, so they can be happy together! I have over 15 years of experience with dogs, as I grew up with a King Charles Spaniel and then a Golden Retriever and a Dachshund. I have been on Rover for 3 years and have cared for over 20 dogs. I love all types of dogs and am devoted to making sure their needs are met. I understand that all dogs are different, as some require more activity than others. I will follow all directions regarding food, medicine, and activity. I will also use my superior judgment from working with many dogs in the past to ensure happiness for my new clients. Safety is my number one priority, but I will also love your dog like it is my own. You can always reach out to my cell phone with questions/concerns and I will respond immediately.

Jackson had a blast staying with Rachel the past weekend! I received many updates and photos on him. Rachel was very friendly and Jackson was tired when we picked him up! Would highly recommend as we will be back ☺️
Rachel was wonderful! She was a great communicator and sent me pictures of Mila throughout the day. She took Mila to the park twice and Mila was exhausted from all the fun when she got home!
Rachel was great! Super friendly and very close to events at U of M. She sent us updates and photos to put our minds at ease.
Rachel was a fantastic play date for our pup. She was super attentive and kept up with his puppy energy.

I understand that all dogs are unique! I embrace all different personality types, but I'd like to know a few points before meeting your beloved friend! The following would be very helpful so I can ensure ultimate safety: -Any dietary restrictions or medication -Whether they will need a meal during our time together / how to administer -Whether they need to sleep in a crate -How they act around other dogs, kids, bikers, cars etc. -Whether they can be off-leash in a park These few facts will help me make sure your pet has the best experience possible while staying with me! That is my number one priority.
A typical day
I will follow all your instructions related to how your pup loves to spend their days. If they are a couch potato, I will be a couch potato with them. If they are very active, I will take them on many walks throughout the neighborhood and play stimulating games/fetch.

I am available to watch dogs mostly on weekends and during the holidays. I sometimes work from home so have some flexibility on weekdays, so please inquire about any dates you are wondering about!
