My name is Rachel from Colfax WA. I love walking my own dog through this sleepy little town. Dogs are my passion, my hobby and my muse. I have always been fascinated by the way dogs learn. Owning a dog offers a unique perspective on the world and teaching a dog a new skill has always felt like bridging the gap in human/canine communication. Few things in life give me as much of a thrill as getting that "YES!" lightbulb moment when it finally clicks for the dog and they understand what you want from them. I am a dog trainer seeking my CPDTKA. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have experience with fearful dogs as well as dogs who are reactive and getting them to be confident and obedient on leash. As an owner of two reactive dogs myself, I understand how much stress trying to find the right person to care for them can be. There is a lot of anxiety in trusting a stranger with your babies.
