My name is Rachel and I love to open up my home to dog guests! My mom, Gail, has become involved with the project and my brother, Glen, sometimes likes to help too, so together with my little four year old girl, Ellie, we have made this a family affair! We try to give our dog guests the full family experience. Although we live in a modest sized house, we make up for it with love! We have a friendly and safe neighborhood and a beautiful park at the bottom of our road and several other parks close by. Our three tiered garden in the backyard is also a place our dog friends are happy to sniff about! We are looking for family friendly dogs who would enjoy two on leash walks a day, and a family setting. We give our pups all walks on leash and sometimes my little daughter likes to walk along with us. So pups that enjoy a leisurely walk twice a day are the perfect fit for us! But we look forward to being able to accomodate higher energy pups in the future (when we have finished our backyard plans). I take up to three pups at once, but I also offer private booking if you prefer your pup to be on his own on your vacation. I do have to be gone up to four hours on certain days of the week with care commitments. So feel free to book if your pup does well with having a few hours of downtime in the day. I also love animals of all sorts, and my mom runs the nature program at Redwood Glen camp where we help with animal care from rabbits to lizards.
