Pet care experience
I have 2 very spoiled Maltese mix pups at home, but I often take care of a range of other dogs, small and large, puppy to senior. I even care for the occasional cat. Both of my boys are extremely well socialized with all other types of dogs as well as cats. Together we make a great team! My dogs are my children and that is exactly how I care for other pets. My goal is always to make your pet feel comfortable, loved, and safe, and also to provide you, as pet parents, with peace of mind while you’re away.
Reviews
I never have to worry about Marshie when Rachel comes over to take care of him. So happy to have found someone nearby that can handle puppy energy!
Friendly, reliable, experienced! A+++
She’s the best! I felt so safe and comfortable with my dog being with her! He loved it so much and was extra happy! She is the best and definitely loves what she does
Rachael is a fantastic dog sitter . So kind and caring. Our Rae loved her and we were rest assured she was in good hands when we were gone!!!

I have all tile flooring in my home and a fenced-in, turf backyard. I also live in a gated community with a large green belt area that is perfect for walks and fetch at any time of day! I have a medium sized crate available in my home as well as two dog beds, lots of blankets and more dog toys than I can keep track of. Expect lots of photos from me especially if your pet likes to pose for the camera! And if you find yourself missing your pet at any time, I’m more than happy to provide additional photos, videos, or text/verbal updates at your request.

Information Rachel A. would like to know about your pet
Please provide details about any medications, allergies, or special needs your pet may have. It’s also great to get an idea of what their normal routine, activity level and personality are like. Anything that can help me make your pet feel loved and at home in my care!
A typical day
I like to structure play time around the needs of your specific dog. Personality, size, age, and breed all make a difference in the types of activities we do! For larger and more energetic pups, I love to take long walks (or even a run) in my neighborhood and the surrounding residential area, and play fetch at the greenbelt in my community. When we aren’t out and about, there’s plenty of open space in my home and backyard to toss the ball or play with any number of toys. While I work, there’s always a place for your pup on my lap, at my feet, or in an extra large bean bag I have placed in my home office! It’s the perfect spot to relax.

Availability
I work from home full-time, permanently so I have plenty of time to spend cuddling and caring for your pets! Since I’m home all day, there’s no time constraints on taking a walk or a potty break. I’m an early riser and have a very flexible lunch hour during the week so accommodating any scheduling needs shouldn’t be a problem.
