I'm a marketing consultant working from home who loves animals and has a very flexible schedule. I'm reliable, caring and happy to work with your schedule! I have experience dog sitting for the past 3 years with a border collie including have cared for her during a period when she was sick and was taking multiple medications. I have experience with both young and older dogs. I'm located in Downtown LA in a large one bedroom with a balcony and am happy to board your dog overnight. I live here with my boyfriend who loves dogs as well. I love nature and being outdoors, taking dogs for long walks and/or to the dog park or dog friendly beach. I'm open to any breed or size dog. I can provide references available upon request.

Rachel spent two weeks dog sitting for our ten year old boarder collie, June. She is really great with dogs and June was so happy to have Rachel look after her! Our dog has a lot of health problems and Rachel was extremely attentive and compassionate when looking after her (giving oral medication and bandaging pressure sores). She sent lots of updates about how June was doing and was always available if we wanted to check in. We usually worry when we leave June with with a dog sitter as she's old and requires lots of care but we felt completely at ease leaving her with Rachel. I'd highly recommend Rachel as a dog sitter / dog walker and hope she can look after June again!
