Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Rachel & have been caring for pets for more than 12 years. I currently have 2 friendly resident dogs that LOVE having new friends come to stay with us. Having owned 2 high energy herding dogs, I have learned many fun games & activities to keep pups both entertained & happy. I've cared for them as puppies all way through hospice care & am comfortable giving medications if needed.

Rachel was amazing! She has her home set up like a perfect home away from home for your four-legged friend. We brought our golden retriever there while we went away for a few days for spring break and it was clear that she had a great time. Rachel and her family are so kind and caring, it was a joy to meet them. We will definitely use her again!
Our lab puppy, Fiona, just stayed with Rachel for 10 days and we could not have asked for a better experience! Rachel was communicative and sent photos/videos throughout our time away. We especially loved seeing videos of Fiona having so much fun playing with Rachel’s dogs. When our puppy unexpectedly started her first heat cycle during her stay, Rachel handled it in stride. We knew Fiona was in great hands the whole time we were gone! Thank you Rachel!
Rachel was amazing for our girls. She has the perfect space to accommodate guest pups. She was so flexible with us and very easy to communicate with! We would 100% book with Rachel again.

We have a 2600 sq foot home that is easily divided to provide a quiet space for everyone to relax when play time is over. Our home also has a fully fenced in backyard overlooking natural waterways filled with nature for plenty of puppy entertainment! We do have young children (preschool age) in the home. They are very dog savvy having been around many different dogs all their lives, but we need our doggy guests to be child friendly to stay :)

A typical day
Daily walks (or runs) are already a part of our routine, and we love including our visitors in them! But if on leash walks are not your dog's preference, we also spend a ton of time in the fenced in backyard as I will often work on the deck! We also use enrichment games & toys to keep minds busy when we need to stay inside.
