Hi! I’m Rachael. My partner and I just moved to the Asheville area from Pennsylvania. I took a few years off from pet sitting to work in violence prevention, and I’m excited to start doing it part time again! I can do dog walking and pet check in visits to help your pet get more love and attention while you're away. We moved into a converted barn, so unfortunately I can no longer pet sit in my own home. I grew up with an energetic English Setter named Venus (now 11) and a beautiful Maine Coon named Tiger (now 15) as well as pet sitting for friends and family. I'm happy to meet before setting up a stay. Whatever special needs your pet has, I am very amenable to adapting so your pet has all their needs met to have a wonderful time while you're away. This was our 2nd time using Rachael and again she took amazing care of our dogs. We received some great pictures throughout their stay and they genuinely looked happy, tired out and spoiled! Her responses were always immediate making communication with her very easy which was reassuring. We'll definitely contact Rachael again to watch our dogs!
Panda and Tucker LOVE going to Rachel's! They stayed for 3 nights and returned home happy, safe, and tired? it's great being able to go out of town and not worry about my furry babies! As always, Rachel exceeded my expectations and is always flexible and willing to work around schedules! We will be seeing you soon! Thank you!

A typical day
Whatever your pet prefers! If your pet has a specific dog park they like to frequent, that can definitely be arranged as well. Your pet will be allowed on furniture (as long as that's okay with you), and will be one of the family during their stay. My top priority is making your pet comfortable and happy!

Pet sitting is one of my favorite parts of my weekly routine. It’s the most fun walks to go on, and giving extra love to a fur baby is always fun.
