I grew up on a huge farm in Massachusetts with over twenty horses, a bunch of barn cats, and always a few dogs! I started working with dogs at a young age when I brought our dog Rafiki through intermediate obedience and through intermediate agility. I also walked and pet sat for several different dogs, including cute minis and even a Great Dane! Currently I have a rescue dog named Stormy, who is a well-trained 70lbs mix. I am comfortable with animals of all types and understand both behaviors and psychology of dogs from my years of working with animals. I am comfortable with dogs with special needs or idiocracies (who doesn't have these?!), but if there's anything that's complicated, I would prefer to meet in person prior to pet sitting to make sure your pup is comfortable and happy while you're away! I love taking lots of pictures and always try to get some fun 'glamour' shots - although with some of these young puppies, they move too fast!
