I work full-time as a zoo educator and have a deep love and passion for animals. Because I work with animals daily, I am skilled at reading animal behaviors. I have a master's degree in biology, am very responsible and reliable, and take the care of your pets seriously (in a fun way). Our home is your pet's home! They are welcome on the furniture, can free range inside when we're gone (or a kennel; your choice!) and will enjoy a fenced-in yard to romp and run! I live in Baldwin City (for boarding at my place), but am happy to housesit in surrounding areas like Lawrence too :) Because I do work full-time, I am available in the morning (6:00-7:30am) and in the evenings (4:30-10:00pm) during the weekdays. I am free anytime on the weekends. I live with my husband, Brandon, and we work well together taking care of our pets and the clients alike! He is usually home by 3:30-4:00 on weekdays. I am happy to come to your house to stay or your dog can come to my house! We have a 4-year-old female sheperd mix (35lbs) and a 3-year-old female golden retriever (55lbs) who are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have two cats who are good with dogs. Additionally, I have experience with all types of animals. I am happy to take care of your other pets, whether it be a cat, small mammal, reptile, amphibian, fish, bird, or invertebrate! I work daily with birds, snakes, lizards, tortoises, frogs, insects, and arachnids (among other things), so I understand the care they need.
