I have had dogs my whole life and have been a dog sitter on and off for about 8 years now in San Diego, CA and Austin, TX. I believe I will forever have a foot in the dog hospitality world because caring for dogs is my passion. A bit about me: I’ve worked at a very high intensity (cage free) dog day care in San Diego while in college before moving to Austin, TX in 2020. Over the last three years I got to spend time and watch selective dogs while working from home. I was fortunate to be blessed with connections when I arrived but I am excited to now be back on Rover so other local texans can enjoy my dog sitting services as well. I have had experience with dogs as small as a Shih Tzu and as large as a St. Bernard. I also have had experience with puppies as young as 12 weeks and as old as 17! My number one goal is to make sure the dog feels as comfortable as possible. I like to stay with the dog's normal routine that his or her owner(s) strive to keep, but also give a little more attention and special treats so they can also feel like they are on vacation as well when they are with me. My home is a modern one bedroom apartment (1,000sq ft first floor) and nicely close to the community dog park. I love enjoying nature walks around Austin and exploring with your pup if they are adventurous. Something that I do (upon approval from owner) is send text messages with picture updates throughout your dogs stay. I will always be available for communication via cell, text, or email.
