Pet care experience
I've always loved animals. I grew up with a cat, and my family adopted a dog a few years ago. When we adopted her, she was extremely shy, so I have experience with anxious dogs. I've also done pet sitting, primarily caring for older birds. I have experience with administering medication to pets, as I had to administer medication to both my cat and the birds I've cared for. I'm currently a student at Brandeis University and am taking primarily afternoon classes, so I'll have lots of time for pet care in the mornings and evenings. Back home, I love to take my dog on nice long walks around the neighborhood and to the local parks so she can get some running in.
Reviews
Rachael has stayed at my home twice now and did a great job keeping my dog company. She's trustworthy, asks good questions, and is great to deal with.
Rachael took care of our 3 kitties with daily drop-ins, including taking care of our senior citizen cat who needs a few oral medications. She was super friendly and responsive, we can’t wait to have her petsit for us again.
Rachael was great to our blind rescue girl Lucy! She helped us out in a pinch and followed the care instructions we provided. We would definitely book again for a walk or look into boarding in the future. Thanks again!
Rachael was great! I've never had someone stay in my home to watch my pup, but Rachael put me at ease about it. It was clear she was paying attention to whatever dog instructions were provided, which was key. I'll definitely ask Rachael to dog sit again in the future.

Safety, trust & environment
Because I live in a dorm, I cannot provide boarding, but I am available for housesitting. I think it is important that a pet feel comfortable around me, so I try to spend time bonding with them when I housesit.
Information Rachael R. would like to know about your pet
It would be helpful to know what your dog enjoys and if they have any special needs so I can make sure to cater to those.
A typical day
I love to make sure a dog feels stimulated both mentally and physically. Back home I'll often take my dog to the park so we can play games, see other furry friends, run, and learn tricks.

I'm a senior at Brandeis University, and my classes are super spread out with usually just one course lasting about an hour and a half each day, so my schedule is very flexible.
