Pet care experience
Hi ! PETS MUST BE HOUSE TRAINED. I am a 32 yr old single white female, who just finished her 3rd college degree. I moved back home about a year ago after a bad car accident and am saving all I can. I currently am working for DogVacay always so all of my time will be devoted to your pet . I love to play and snuggle. My mother and I are the only house members. Guests are not over often. Someone will always be there to give your pet loving affection. Our yard is completely fenced in. So you never have to worry about your animal being lost or left out in the heat. I provide daily walks around our neighborhood at no additional charge to You ! I recently lost my dog of 15 years to old age and LOVE any animal's company, as you can see from my pictures! Call or text me with questions Thanks ! Rachael

My dog, Izzy, was spoiled rotten! Rachel was very attentive and loving! I think if Izzy had stayed any longer, she would have forgotten me! I can't say enough positive things about our experiences with Rachel and Sweet Rosie. Izzy will choose Rachel again, I know!
We live in Georgia but were coming to Charleston, SC for vacation. So, we searched for a sitter for our two Maltese there because we wanted to be close in case of an emergency. Our experience started out well. Rachael texted and sent pictures and all seemed fine until I received a text from her on Saturday morning. She was very upset because my little girl Zoey chewed up her mouthpiece. Zoey has bad back legs. So, she can't jump up on anything. She even has trouble with stairs. Rachael had placed Zoey on her bed, left her there unattended and she got the mouthpiece off of her nightstand very close to the bed. I feel it's the responsibility of the sitter to make sure things like that don't happen because at the end of the day, a dog will he a dog and they may do things out of character due to separation anxiety. Rachael texted me very upset. So, my husband hurried over and picked up our dogs. We were in the middle of our vacation and had to make other arrangements for our dogs at the very last minute which was very stressful. Rachael wanted me to pay her for the full stay to cover the cost of the mouthpiece. I had originally agreed to do that until I really thought about it and felt like that wasn't my responsibility. She should have been more careful. I called Customer Service at Rover and they were amazing. They gave me a credit for the remaining days. They also offered to help me find a new sitter. I was very happy with them and how they handled the situation. I definitely won't let this specific sitter cause me to stop using Rover. I'd recommend Rover all day long just not Rachael. The purpose of a dog sitter is to help relieve stress while you pay someone good money to take care of your dogs. That was not my experience with her at all. The sad thing is that had intended on tipping her well because I felt like she was originally doing a great job. Unfortunately it ended badly and Rachael has sent me a few scathing texts.
This was Rudy's 3rd time staying with Rachael. As always, he had a wonderful time and is always very comfortable with her. Thanks Rachael! Rudy will be back again soon!
Rachael always makes our pups feel at home! We love having someone so close and attentive and definitely recommend her to anyone looking to board their dogs!
