Pet care experience
I am looking for pet sitting and dog walking opportunities because I enjoy the company and exercise. I have over 8 concentrated years of experience fostering cats (*ranging from feral to domesticated) and have taken courses on advanced cat behavior. I am experienced with clicker training, leash training, and socializing *very* feral younger cats in addition to working with cats with disabilities/special needs. Cats do not enjoy change so I focus on mitigating stressors and finding positive outlets for energy. Both of my sisters worked for doggy daycares and foster dogs in addition to our childhood dogs, however, I have three cats and miss walking dogs. I am quite comfortable working with different dogs as I always work with my sister's fosters while visiting. I am seeking to help busy dog owners by tiring their doggy out and keeping them (*and me) healthy.

It was super easy communicating with Rachel! She kept me up to date regularly regarding my doggy. She was sensitive to his needs and accommodated my house sitting needs which made it very smooth!
Rachael sent us pictures and frequent updates. She did a great job keeping our active boy busy with walks and fetch!
Rachael's amazing! Her love for cats has us feeling confident in how she cares for ours, and in addition to knowing they'll be taken care of and entertained, we are confident she'd know how to handle any type of emergency. She sends sweet notes and photos and we're so lucky to have her.
Rachel is my go to person. 100% reliable, and has become an auntie to these cats. I trust her 100% with my cats.

I like to seek out green spaces for doggies to enjoy and like to let them both get their sniff time in as well as burning energy. For cats, I balance the visit by giving pets (on their terms) and play time. Having that structured energetic activity is especially important for indoor cats, who may become destructive or 'swipe-y' without that outlet.
