Pet care experience
I have always had family dogs that I have taken care of my whole life, including cats, and other animals. I do not have any pets of my own with the exception of a leopard gecko. I also only take one client at a time, so your fur baby or babies will have my full attention. I have experience giving routine medicine to dogs and cats along with senior care. I watched my friends Frenchie while she was on deployment and after for about a year total. I often help friends out with their pets, and I love it so much I decided to make some extra money doing for others too!

We were nervous dog parents with a very peculiar and anxious dog, but we were absolutely STUNNED by Rachael’s overwhelming love and support for our psychotic Australian shepherd. Pictures and videos every day, extra care, numerous day trips, and more. Rachael isn’t just a responsible dog sitter - she’s a lover, and it truly will be a vacation for your pup as well. Trust me on this one, you won’t regret it at all!!
Rachael was super communicative giving us daily updates, videos and photos. The dogs came home healthy, happy and super well taken care of.
We booked Rachael to board our two pups for a few nights, and we couldn't be happier with her. From the get go she was extremely flexible with our schedule and made sure we felt safe leaving our boys in her home. She sent plenty of updates and photos that really showed how much care and attention she was giving the pups. She took them out on adventures and long walks, made sure they were eating, and it honestly felt like they were on as much of a vacation as we were! If there is not a fully fenced in yard I will take your dog out on a leash with a harness depending on the owners preference. Whenever I take dogs outside I make sure they have their collar on with tags even if the property is fully fenced in. I always make sure that there is water in their bowl before I leave, and take them out to do one last potty Before I lock up the house I make sure the dog is returned to their crate, bedroom, or in the house depending on the owner’s wishes.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs like medication, any allergies, if they are good on a leash, well socialized with dogs, or do not enjoy car rides. Any instances in which they get aggressive. For example, around other dogs, humans, dog bowls, or toys. It is not an issue if any of these things are the case I just need to know where I should bring them on walks, and what to avoid. Thank you so much!
A typical day
I am very active and live the dog life with frequent hikes, beach walks, and just being out in nature. So I love having a fur buddy to join me. My neighborhood is also perfect for walks with two parks both a block away. If your dog loves to play fetch, tug-a-war, car rides, parks, or the beach then I am the perfect sitter for you and your pet.

Availability
I was in the Navy on active duty for four years, and now I am in the active reserves as an OS2. Currently I am a nanny for two families. I usually nanny twice a day for two hours each during the week. So this allows a lot of flexibility in my schedule, and lots of time with the pups. I am usually around for holidays, and I don’t travel a lot so I am usually local for any last minute needs.
