Pet care experience

I am happy to help care for your pups of all sizes, fur types, and fetching abilities :) We've both grown up with dogs and they're our favorite kind of companion. I'm lucky to be working from home and taking grad classes online, making my schedule flexible for you and your pup! I can walk or work at your home if needed during the day. I had volunteered for Dallas's DPA, helping foster/adoptable dogs find homes, so I'm very comfortable with shy, nervous, scared pups who just need some affection and careful attention. I have been the go-to sitter in my family/friend circles, and love to love on dogs. (I'm that person who screams "DOG!" when I see a dog at a party). Simply let me know any special conditions and I'd be more than happy to accommodate. Thank you for checking me out, and I look forward to caring for your fur child(ren)!

Rachael stayed at my house with my pups for 2 nights. There were no issues at all and she kept the house looking good as well!

Absolutely the best! Rachael was so great with our dogs and made us feel so comfortable knowing she was there to take care of them. She sent constant updates and was flexible with anything we needed. Will definitely book again!

Rachael was amazing! She was able to watch our dog for a few days on such she notice. We received pictures of our dog everyday and were given a daily update. She was very responsible and kept our house clean when we returned. Also, she was very on top of giving our dog her daily medication. We came home to a happy and tired pup :)

I understand some pups fear of separation and may become anxious with your absence. Since they are used to their usual routine, once we get acclimated I'll be sure to react to their needs quickly and in the comforts of their 'normal'. We can absolutely stay engaged in conversation as well if that helps alleviate any concerns.

Information Rachael H. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences, love them all! I would like to know any behaviors requiring special attention, if they are okay with other animals, if they are afraid of new people (if someone asks to pet them, i.e. children), if they have parts of their body they get nervous being petted, they're eating habits, and any ways that bring them comfort.

A typical day

Katy Trail if they're okay with other dogs and like to mingle, or the local dog parks. OR a quiet park or stroll to get in some fresh air and grass. if they're a bit more reserved and shy, I am open to suggestions if they have they're preferences! I would love to play with and just share some love :)
