I have been around dogs since I was born; my family had a 100 lb collie named Topaz, who was our snuggle buddy, our best companion, and often a great pretend horse! I now own two sweet Australian shepherds named Arroyo & Sage, but I am a friend to all breeds and dogs of all sizes/temperaments. I also have a two-year-old cat named Cheepers, so I'm happy to look after your cats as well. Back in Chicago, I walked dogs and would often pet-sit for friends' animals while they were away. I'm that person who stops dogs on the street to say "hi" and I believe that having a loving compassion for all beings is crucial to living a fulfilling life. I own my own business and work from home, so I am available and flexible depending on each dog & dog owner's needs. As a dog walker & caretaker, I believe it's most important to communicate openly with the pet owner and take interest in the uniqueness of each dog. Once I know what activities your dog loves, what commands they know best, any medical history, and what your expectations are, we can have a great doggy-human friendship that offers fun, safety, and convenience for you and your pet. I am available any time on weekdays and most weekends, too.
