I grew up with critters of all shapes and sizes: dogs, cats, birds, rodents, even insects. I volunteered at my local animal shelter in high school and I've utilized my pastry arts degree to work at a dog bakery (best job ever!). I’ve spent time with and cared for a wide range of dog breeds. I’ve had a number of repeat clients (both through Rover and personal connections) with pets large and small, young and old. I’m patient, reliable, and not afraid of the “dirty work” that goes along with pet care. We have a small (20lb) dog, Ursa. She’s 3 years old, a bit timid (and sometimes protective) at first, but super friendly and playful once she comes out of her shell. We also have an indoor cat, Gravy, who tends to make herself disappear when we have guests.

I'd like to know your dog's daily habits and routine with food, walks, social interactions, and bedtime. I'd like to know if your pup has any allergies or medications, furniture or food rules, special needs or quirks. A meet & greet is a must if you’re booking with me.
A typical day
Your pup(s) and I will walk around the neighborhood, yours or mine, depending on the type of stay we have arranged. I’m also always up for some indoor or outdoor playtime! What your pup and I do together is entirely catered to their interests. If they like to run and fetch, we'll run and fetch. If they prefer an easy-paced stroll, sniffing everything we pass, we can do that too.

Availability
I am self-employed and currently work from home, so my schedule is quite flexible. My husband, Patrick, is also great with animals and will sometimes help me with clients. We already have a daily dog-walking and feeding routine with our own pets, so adding another mouth to feed or another set of legs to walk is no problem.
