As new members here on Rover we had no idea of what to expect. Our puppies have never been boarded nor left alone away from us either. I am sure they were a bit scared and out of sorts with mommy and daddy away. Our sitter told us we did not have our profile information filled out properly. We will try to do a better job on that in the future. Our experience was not positive on either end. Our dogs are used to an early schedule for going potty etcetera, where the sitters schedule was up late and sleep late. I am sure this may have played a factor in the accidents that occurred during their stay. We were told our little girl belongs in a doggy day care. We were being told what we need to do and most everything we were being told was negative. We read the 5 star reviews and went with it. We were not expecting to smell smoke upon entering the sitters residence, as it was listed as non smoking. Our little girl left there traumatized and it took two days for her to return to normal. She is the more difficult of the two puppies, and has excitable urination issues as well. We presume because of this she was left in the yard for longer amounts of time as we had to cut burrs out of her fur when we got her home. The sitters residence was also not very clean. We sent a pillow as a comfort toy for our dog which was full of hair upon our two day trip. The dogs also both smelled and needed a bath immediately once we got home. We learned a lot from our experience and will be more thorough in our sitter selection in the future.

Lily enjoyed her stay, was happy to get along with the other dogs. Was sent pictures and videos during her stay. Cared for was great.
