I am a college student heading to pre-vet school in a few years. I have 10 years of dog training experience including many different breeds - I do not discriminate with dog breeds at all - I am open to dogs of all size, age and breed! I use clicker training techniques, and do not believe in negative reinforcement training AT ALL. I have experience with hand taming rodents and birds. I also have experience with giving medication to dogs and rodents if that is needed! I do have my own rescue dog - pictured in my profile, her name is Cleopatra, she is a year old mutt from the Wisconsin Humane Society - very dog friendly and people friendly, but is not a fan of cats, so we cannot board any cats. She is an allergy-alert service dog whom I trained myself for a peanut allergy. She will also be starting training to be a therapy dog to visit retirement homes and children's hospitals when she gets a little older! I also have much experience with rodents, birds, horses, and fish. I am comfortable around all animals except for spiders, bugs and snakes. I love taking dogs down to the lake shore and swimming with the pups, or just letting them play in the sand! Notes on my household: I live in an apartment with no yard, but am close to the lakeshore, a dog park, can take dogs on long walks, and am home 90% so I am able to take the pups out as often as needed. I have 2 caged rodents that are up high on shelves in a separate room from the dog areas, and my personal dog is 100% dog friendly, but she would still never be left unsupervised with another dog, and she is also crate trained so if you are not comfortable with her interacting with your dog, they can be housed in separate rooms in the apartment.
