Hello! My name is Quinn, and I am an experienced pet sitter and with veterinary experience, and am currently in school to become a veterinary technician. I have been pet sitting since I was around 10, and I started working at a veterinary hospital when I was 17, where I helped care for a variety of dogs and cats both in the office and out through fostering kittens and continuing to pet-sit. I have never lived in a house without a cat and had a German shepherd mix for 10 years who, from high-energy youth to senior care, taught me about how to truly understand dogs. Throughout the years, I have cared for animals that are deaf, blind, young, diabetic, arthritic, aggressive, anxious, and everything in between. I treat every animal I meet with the respect and understanding that they deserve and I am so excited to help with your animals!

Quinn C is wonderful with my rescue dog “River “.When I asked her to bathe and trim her nails she did a great job. She was very patient with River Who is very fearful of water. She is the forth of my dogs that she has taken care of while I was away. She has taken care of many pets at her home and at others homes. I observed her at the APL taking care of less fortunate animals. She was very good with them. I will always trust Quinn with my pets and highly recommend her to take care of your pet.

A typical day
Every interaction with an animal begins with an establishment of trust. Once an animal trusts me, they will be more comfortable showing what they want or need. When I walk a dog, I like to follow the route the dog wants to take (to an extent), and it makes the walk more interesting for both of us. At home, I’ll follow the lead of the dog on how they want to play, and switch it up at times for enrichment and fun.

Availability
I currently have a very flexible schedule as I get settled with a regular job. Eventually, my schedule will leave me free time to check in with pets in the early mornings and late afternoons, and I will update my schedule accordingly.
