I have worked at a no-kill shelter since the age of 6. I have experience walking very strong dogs, and can remain calm in situations even when there are big dogs with insecure behaviors. I am quite physically active and can be a running partner for your energetic pooch. Additionally, I have a lot of experience around cats- taking care of the pet shelter rooms with over 40 cats, house-sitting for cat owners dozens of times, owning four cats of my own, etc. I am looking forward to learning about you and your furry friend's unique lifestyle and needs. Being able to work around dogs and cats is a real treat for me, as they really deepen my mindfulness practice, so please do not hesitate to contact me about your specific situation. Let me know if your dog has any special needs or dietary restrictions or requests (e.g. only a certain type of treat after they finish an instructed task, etc.) Please let me know if there are certain triggers that make them nervous; like certain noises, movements, or situations, I would love to know how to make your pooch as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's personality, we could have fun at a nature preserve or dog park nearby. Some of my favorites are New Tampa Nature park, Lettuce Lake Park, Hillsborough County State Park... I will research such nature areas in a location convenient to the house.

Availability
I'm a full-time student, so Monday and Wednesday I'm booked with class until 5pm. Tuesday and Thursday class starts at 2 and ends at 3:30, so we can work around that. Otherwise, I'm free Friday Saturday and Sunday per request.
