Human seeking new furry friendships
Pet care experience
I recently had an English Mastiff who passed away because of cancer about a year ago. I miss him and all of the joy he brought to my life. He was 14 human years old and 226lbs. I had him when he was just pup struggling to walk up steps, hold up his huge paw and turn his head without falling. While I’m not in a position to get a new pet, I’d love to play with yours! Animals bring so much joy to our lives and help us to capture so many moments. Tison, my late English Mastiff, taught me that dogs like belly rubs, treats, and walks. The other dogs in my neighborhood and family taught me that pets have so many different personalities and qualities (many of which take after their owners). I digress. I am simply a human looking to make some new furry friendships! I’m currently working from home full time so I can take your fur baby out for walks and love on him/her right from my desk. I have a fenced dog park and I love taking walks around my neighborhood. I’d prefer to let the pets roam freely through my apartment (even on my patio if he or she likes to catch some sun rays or bark at the tree nearby. If needed, I will close doors to limit access.
Reviews
I was lucky to find Quiera when another Rover cancelled just days before our trip. We talked first on the phone and she asked so many great questions about my dog I knew this was going to be good. She did a meet and greet and listened to my concerns that my senior dog sometimes is “quirky” and you have to really pay attention to her signs. Quiera did just that and she and Halo built a good relationship filled with love, attention, walks and of course treats. Quiera sent me pictures and updates daily of my fur baby! We were so thrilled with her that we have already booked her again for this summer!! Thank you Quiera!!! I highly recommend you to anyone who wants a caring petsitter!❤️
Always a wonderful, worry-free stay with Quiera. We are so fortunate to have connected with her.
It’s so wonderful to have total peace of mind that our pups will be well cared for!
Another successful stay! Quiera is simply the best!

Information Quiera H. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know what type of medicine or allergies your fur baby may have. I’d also like to know it they suffer from separation or social anxiety. If they do, I will make a point to physically be accessible to them. For example, instead of working on my desk, I’d work on the sofa so that they can lay on my lap while I work. Most pets enjoy placing there head on my fluffy thigh while laying on the sofa with me. I must admit, I love the cuddling session.
A typical day
In the morning, my husband will give a brief earlier morning bathroom break around 6:30 am. I wake up at 8 and give breakfast. In the afternoon, we go on a walk around 11 or 12pm. If the dog park is empty, we will go there for some digging and running. At 4:30, we go out for a family walk with my husband. We have dinner around 6:30 pm. Shortly after dinner, we play with toys. Right before bed around 8:30 pm or 9pm we will go out for another bathroom break.
