About Quanece: I participated in "A Tail to Tell" program, assisting with the socialization of puppies rescued from puppy mills. I collaborated with veterinarians to administer vaccines and provide food to underprivileged dog families. My commitment extended to volunteering at animal shelters, where I dedicated time to tasks like dog walking and cat socialization. During my college years, I worked with nine Capuchin monkeys, where I handled both husbandry and enrichment activities.These experiences have not only shaped my passion for animal care but also fueled my excitement for the opening of Q and Leek’s Doggy Retreat, where I look forward to extending my expertise to provide a nurturing and enjoyable environment for your furry friends. About Malik: In the Greater Newark, NJ area, I've dedicated my time to volunteering at various dog shelters, actively engaging with paw buddies through walks and ensuring the cleanliness of kennels. Throughout my college years in the Glassboro area, I expanded my commitment by offering dog walking and house-sitting services for local families. Adding to my passion, I fostered two American Pitbull strays from 2019 to 2021, providing them with a loving home and nurturing environment. As my love for dogs continues to flourish daily, I am thrilled and excited to extend a warm welcome to you and your paw friends, inviting them into our home for a delightful and caring stay. * We do offer pick up and drop off services *

Quanece & Malik were available last minute when I needed someone to watch my dog for a few hours. They were responsive, followed all my directions, and sent updates throughout the day. I’ve booked with them a few times, and I would definitely do it again.
Thanks for watching Appa. I felt really comfortable knowing he was with you. I appreciated the pictures and video updates. This was his first time away from us since we brought him home 3 years ago and we knew he would be nervous, as he is a rescue dog who had many fears in the past. He has come a long way, but is still fearful of other dogs. Thanks for accommodating his needs. He was scared of the stairs coming inside because of the slats and you put down a towel make sure he was comfortable. Thanks for putting our minds at ease while we went on our trip. Great job. I would recommend you to a friend.

Quanece was amazing with our little girl!!! Our bulldog is very stubborn and does not like when her parents go out of town but Quanece was very patient with her and Lizzie loved her time there. There is truly no one else I would trust more with my dog and cannot wait to book her again. It is much easier going away knowing our girl is perfectly taken care of.

Our mission is to provide a space where your pups can live comfortably while their parents are away on vacation worry- free. Your four legged companions enter as guests and leave as members of our family. Our home is their home! We live in a bi-level apartment where our clients can free-roam in addition to a fenced backyard, so your pups will have ample room for zoomies and play. All of our clients receive filtered water, treats (only ones that the owner approve), and they are allowed on all furniture. At the owner's discretion, we can crate, but we do not have a create available. In client's home, we keep journals, so we will have an in depth discussion with our clients to ensure that we follow all rules and respect the home. We will send continual updates and pictures of your pup. Plus, if we stay overnight, we are strict on leaving a home neat, so we are more than happy to tidy up before we leave.

During the meet & greet, we will have an in depth discussion about your pup, including but not limited to medical history, behaviors, and potty/ feeding routine to see if we are a great fit for each other. Also, you are important! You are trusting us with your furbabies, so we want to ensure you are comfortable with where you are leaving your family. A meet and greet is mandatory. Any aggressive behaviors shown during this meet & greet may result in me declining the booking. This is for the safety of our clients, as well as us. ***** A meet and greet is mandatory. During this time, we will have an in depth discussion about your pup, including but not limited to, medical history, behaviors, and potty/ feeding routine to see if we are a great fit for each other. Also, you are important! You are trusting us with your furbabies, so we want to ensure you are comfortable with where you are leaving your family. If your fur baby requires an additional meet and greet due to signs of aggression, there will be a $25 fee per 30 mins. This is for the safety of our clients, as well as us.
A typical day
With our proximity to Wissahickon, Pirates of Francisville Dog Park, and Fairmount Park we curate engaging outdoor adventures for your dogs, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and socialization. If your fur friend is non-friendly (human and/or dogs) we will not visit dog parks or any other areas sparking socialization out of the safety of your dog and others. If you prefer for your pup to not visit dog parks during the stay, please advise us during the meet and greet. In home, we have a backyard, so we can play with bubbles and balls. Inside, we have a bi-level, so we can run up and downstairs until your pup's heart is content.

Please look below to see the next few months's availability*** Drop In days available 2/19/24-2/23/24, 4/1/2024-4/5/2024 Day Care services available- 2/19/24-2/23/24,3/25/24 -4/4/2024 Dog Walking: Weekends- what times? 2/19/24-2/23/24, 4/1/2024-4/5/2024 House Sitting - 2/19/24-2/23/24,3/25/24 - 4/4/2024 Weekends (Owners have to be ok with both of us being present in the home)- May require an additional fee for homes outside a five mile radius.
