Pet care experience
Hi there! Thanks for taking a look at my profile. I'm a senior at DePaul. My family has had dogs throughout my entire life, and have owned my own dog for almost 15 years (may Skipper rest in doggy heaven). Along with understanding the nature of human's best friend, I understand the love and care and owner would want for their four-legged friend and will stop at nothing to provide it. When I care for others' dogs I think of caring it as my own. I have past experience as a dog walker and understand that not all dogs are the same and every owner has different pet care protocols. Please let me know what kind of special procedure you want and I'll be happy to accommodate. As I mentioned, I'm a student and my class schedule is 11:20-2:30 Mon/Wed, 9:40-12:50 Tues/Thurs. About half a month ago, I had to take in an acquaintances' dog for a week. Also being incredibly busy throughout that week, Pu'uwai has shown enormous support by taking Jake the dog to walk everyday and feeding him when I was gone. She gave lots of love and attention to Jake by playing with him, giving him healthy treats, and making sure he was always in a comfortable setting. Every time Jake sees her, he becomes incredibly happy to see her, even though they were only apart for a short time. She took on my responsibility of taking care of Jake and did so much more for him. Her actions and responsibility really show through this experience that she is capable of loving and giving attention. Pu'uwai shows unconditional love and support to not just dogs, but to everyone around her.

No breed preferences, I love all dogs. I would like to know their energy levels, if they have a propensity to be weary or aggressive towards people, child friendly, and their favorite toy and treats.
A typical day
Around the neighborhood, or any specific route provided by dog owner. We will play at the park with tennis balls! For those dogs with good endurance, I am able to take the dog out on runs per request.
