Putt would be a best friend to your dog. As his mother, I've known him for nineteen years and I can say, unequivocally, that he is the most loving person I have ever met. When he was 2, we had Anneka. She was a beautiful white Kuvasz. He would run with her and every time he fell, she took it as her primary duty to stand over him until he could get up and run and play with her again. She died tragically and we were all devastated but after a time, we adopted a beautiful little Italian Greyhound. He was the runt of the litter but he became our pal and he and Putt grew up together. Putnam has always been his friend and protector and even now, almost fifteen years later, Caesar's favorite place in the world is Putnam's bed. As for Putt, it's never about what he wants. It's always about Caesar and our old dog remains 100% devoted to Putnam. Even though he's lost most of his sight, and has slowed in his response, Putnam remains the light of his life. He trusts Putnam with the instincts of his kind. He knows that Putnam will watch over him. Rest assured that Putnam will watch over your loved ones in the same way.
