Love Me Some Fur Babies!

Pet care experience

I’m a Rover sitter because I need more dogs in my life! I have a hamster, and I love him too, but there’s only so much we can do together. I have five turtles, and I love them, but they don’t have fur! And I have an 8-year-old Boxer named Rocky, but he lives part-time at my mother’s house. The thing about a dog is that they are a part of our lives, but we are their whole life. I come to Rover with a great deal of experience, having worked as a vet tech for 6 years in public, private, and specialty hospitals. I have cared for dogs with parvovirus, and have considerable knowledge of allergy, skin, and nail issues. Presently, I work a typical 40-hour-a-week job, but when I’m off the clock, my time is your dog’s time. From the minute I get home, we’ll get in lots of play time, car rides, and walks around the block. They will go wherever I go. I love to go hiking with my Boxer with me. There is also a cool dog park in the Greenhaven area that I enjoy visiting. A meet-and-greet is essential, because we need to see if your dog and my Rocky will get along well together. Rocky is a big love bug and always wants to play. I don’t have breed preferences—they’re all wonderful! Ultimately, I just want to see dogs happy, and take pride in how well I care for animals. I’m eager to meet you, and hope to hear from you soon!

This review is extremely late, but need to write it. I hired her to stay in my place for 1.5 weeks and she did not. I do not believe that she is active now, but warning. I put fresh sheets on the dryer after swiping the only bed...they were still there when I returned. Emptied the trash and the only thing in that was a fast-food drink. I truly have never seen my dog jump so high when I got home. I would never hire again and completely annoyed w the lack of dependability here in Sacramento. Be warn. She asked after booking if visits were ok. I made it clear that they were not. Over night stays were what I paid for which did not happen. I work 12 hours and do not expect anyone to be with a dog 24 hours, but it is not a cat. They need socialization and companionship.

Priscilla was great with my dog Wyatt. He always wants to play and it looks like he got plenty of attention while staying with Priscilla and taking advantage of running in the big backyard. It's been 2 days since he was there and he's still tired. Highly recommend.

Priscilla did drop in visits while we were out of town for two weeks. She came by the house many times each day and sent us many updates. When we returned home, our dogs were happy and calm. Priscilla was a great sitter, we would use her again.

Priscilla did a wonderful job with Makana. I could tell she was taken care of and act ease when I picked her up. I was thankful that she took the time to do a meet and greet first. It put me at ease when leaving her for a couple of nights.
