I would love to care for your pet anytime outside of my work schedule, generally in the late afternoon/evenings on weekdays and flexible on weekends. I'm an early riser, so I can also walk dogs/cat drop ins early mornings!

A typical day
I would love to take your dog to Deering Oaks Park or any other nearby park and let them explore! If playing fetch or finding the biggest stick in the park is your dog's favorite thing, then that's what we're doing. Mental stimulation is also important, so I'm happy to practice training or engage your dog in puzzle toys. As for my feline friends, I am receptive to your cat’s behavior! If they are friendly and love receiving pets, I would love nothing more (but I’ll be weary of the danger zone — the belly). I’ll try to play with them if they have favorite toys. I’m notorious for cleaning litter boxes till no clump is left behind!

Pet care experience
Since I was a kid, I grew up loving and appreciating the kind, loyal nature of dogs but never had the privilege of owning one of my own (I even asked if I could volunteer at an animal shelter at the age of 9). Luckily in college, one of my babysitting families got a puppy, and I regularly walked the dog/dog sat for a year. I have experience walking dogs ranging from wiener dogs to 80 lb dogs. I’m also comfortable walking reactive dogs. I recognize how much trust goes into having a stranger be responsible for your pet’s wellbeing, and I can assure you that I will take care of your pet (and make sure they get more than enough belly rubs). I also volunteered walking dogs for the elderly and mobility-impaired back when I lived in New York City. I live near Deering Oaks Park, and I would love to take your dog exploring depending on their needs! Reliable, trustworthy, and loves every type of dog. I also love to take care of cats -- I have one myself with special needs (wobbly cat condition), so I am familiar with the behavior and needs of taking care of cats as well. I am very clean, punctual, and attentive to following instructions.
