Pet care experience
I have taken care of a Great Dane (7 years old) , Bichon Shitzu (13 years old) , and Yorkie mix (4 years old) for 5 + years now. I walk and feed the dogs twice a day, as well as house sit for their owner. I have experience giving medication to the Great Dane as well. I am comfortable with all sizes and temperaments!

I have had the pleasure of using Portia many time to care for our dogs. We had 3 dogs, a Great Dane, a Bichon Shih Tzu, and a wired hair terrier mini whippet mix. She has looked after our girls from weekends to 2 week stretches. They all love her. Portia was able to care for and walk my girls on many occasions. I have always felt safe having her come to my house and my girls are always loved and cared for like Portia was their owner. Our Great Dane has passed on and though we are sad we are so great full that Portia was there to love her when we were away. I would and will use Portia again for our girl’s care.

My miniature schnauzer gets walks about 4 times a week and fed twice a day. She loves our backyard but also likes to socialize with dogs at dog parks and on walks. Many owners, including myself, consider our dogs to be our babies haha, so I have no problem accommodating to you and your dog's needs :) I have taken care of: - Puppies - Elderly dogs - Dogs with physical and mental health issues I have experience taking dogs to training classes and was once a professional bather at PetSmart!

A typical day
I usually take dogs with plenty of energy to dog parks, and lakes on warmer days! For the less energetic dogs I usually like to give them a walk around the neighbourhood and playtime with toys in the house and back yard. If your dog is needs to be more mentally stimulated in order to prevent destructive behaviour, learning and recalling tricks is a fun activity too!

I just graduated from college so my schedule is completely open. I am flexible to any type of care your dog may need such as baths, brushing, walking, feeding, play time, poop pick up, and house sitting. If you are looking to give your dog some extra socialization with other dogs, I have a six year old miniature schnauzer who can visit your dog with me. She is great with all dogs and people!
