There's nothing better than spending time with a dog--there are no creatures more loyal and loving. I can't have a dog of my own right now, but in the meantime, I want to build quality friendship with pups however I can. That's where you and your dog come in! I am here to provide loving care for your dog, so they feel comfortable while you're away. I first started taking care of dogs in 2008 when my friend was leaving for Iceland for two months. It's safe to say that in those two months, I fell in love with her puppy Sunshine. I learned all about dog dos and do nots, how to socialize her, and most importantly, how to be her best friend. It was hard to say goodbye when my friend moved to Iceland permanently, but I was so glad I could be a surrogate mom to Sunshine when my friend needed me. This experience really prepared me for being a pet sitter, and I will be a temporary family to your dog too! .Since then, I've had the privilege of loving many dogs. I am caring, patient, and calm, your dog will always get zen time with me. I also work from home, so your furry friend will have lots of attention. I pride myself on my communication skills, and I'll be in touch with you throughout the stay--you'll be kept up to date on everything we're doing! I know how hard it is to leave your dog behind when you go on a trip. Let's start our relationship off on the right paw, and set up a meet and greet to see if we're a good match! It was my dog Patty's first time with a dog walker. She was nervous, I was nervous, and Pooja was so awesome!! Really grateful to find someone who definitely cares about my dogs well being!!
My beloved Dalmatian is 15, and an absolute sweetheart. I’m lucky to work from home mostly, but new assignments have meant long days traveling to and from clients which was a real worry in terms of making sure Pirate is looked after through the day. Pooja has been flexible and professional, often fitting in visits at very short notice, and has taken all of the worry out of my days away from home. Pirate is as relaxed when I get home as she was when I left...a real weight off my mind - thanks Pooja!!
Im so grateful to have Pooja help take care of my pup Maggie- Pooja is very loving and uber responsible- Once I was delayed in Europe for work and Pooja was able to keep Maggie longer and helped me stay calm about her well being- Thanks Pooja!!

I love walking in Griffith Park with dogs. It's beautiful and safe. Dogs always love exploring the trails and smelling all the smells. I love building a relationship with a dog through exercise and playing--it's a great way to bond so let me know your dog's favorite games.
