***I am currently on hiatus and not booking any stays.*** I have worked as an animal care technician at the Oregon Humane Society, as a technician assistant at Dove Lewis Emergency Hospital and am a former licensed instructor at Guide Dogs for the Blind. I have owned my personal, beloved dogs for over 20 years, all Labrador Retrievers spanning the color spectrum. My family currently owns two black English Labradors: Tripp, who is eight and Trudy who is two. Trudy has the canine universal blood type and is one of the Superhero Blood Donors at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital. Both my dogs have fabulous dispositions and love other dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages. I am a novelist and work at home so have significant flexibility to spend most of the day with your dog. I have two teenagers--my sons are 15 and 13--and we have a regular weekday and weekend schedule which incorporates school, activities and pet care. Our home is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath in a quiet neighborhood with a very large, fenced backyard.
