As the proud owner to two wonderful little rescue dogs, I know how hard it can be sometimes to find care for your little guys while you are away. I always struggle with the decision of leaving them in a kennel vs. finding an in-home boarding situation. My dogs love spending time in a home environment and enjoy all the play time and social interactions in a more relaxed atmosphere, and that is what I would like to be able to offer to other people with small dogs. We want to give little dogs a place to relax and feel safe, or run and play and enjoy their time away! We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick, with a fenced in back yard and a large deck and patio. I work from home, so there is usually always someone around and the dogs always get lots of love and attention. My dogs are friendly and love to play, but if necessary, we have lots of inside space so everyone can have a place to relax on their own. We also have indoor cats, so cat friendly is a plus, but they are very used to dogs being around and we have no problems. Senior or special needs dogs are also very welcome, because I know they need the special attention and care they deserve, and they just don't always get that in a kennel or large boarding facility. One to two dogs at a time are welcome, but possibly more if all from the same household. Small dogs only please, and all dogs should be current on vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella. We want you to have a place where you feel comfortable leaving your pet and knowing that they are loved, snuggled, and taken care of. We love animals, of all kinds, and want to share our time and home with your little dog when you have to be away. Pleasant Valley Bed & Biscuits
