Pet care experience
I have worked for dog kennels training & grooming dogs for show. I volunteer as a foster for paws and have been successful in rehabiliating aggressive dogs and training and placing them within family homes. I'm a certified personal trainer, I'm strong, fit, and active, willing and able to care for your fur babies as I would want someone to care for mine. I understand the love and connections we have to our furry family members and the expectations of care and the fear of leaving them to others care. I take that responsibility seriously and strive to honor the trust placed in me and go above and beyond to not only maintain that trust but nurture its growth as well. The rewards of pet care isn't the pay, the rewards are the lessons in the art of loving they so graciously share with us. Please I would appreciate contact at least 48 hours before the booking date to assure we have time to do a meet and greet before the stay or walks etc

My dog Teenie had a great time at P.J.'s ... friendly, caring and warm dog lover
P.J. was awesome with our four legged fur baby! She met us before hand for an afternoon walk to see how he is with her and sent pictures during the stay to set us at ease that he was doing well. Her own dog did well with him too which is great since my pup is high energy and tends to annoy others. She was so sweet and awesome.
I met P.J. in the 9th grade and we have been close friends ever since. I'm 42 now. I grew up on a farm and have seen her interaction with animals. Animals are one of her passions and she is very protective of them. I'm also an animal lover and I've left my dog with her when I've been out of town. I'm extremely picky about who I want my dog around because he's like my child. I knew I didn't have to worry about him while he was under her care.

Dogs I sit must be friendly, balanced dogs. I care for my 85 year old mother who uses a wheelchair. She is well versed in dog behavior and the correct human responses. that being said I prefer to not take any chances with safety to my humans and your pets. :) Aggression isn't acceptable from either one lol
A typical day
In my backyard there is literally a walking/nature trail that I have explored every inch of for 4 decades:) I have a treadmill that I use during times of I may be sick or the weather doesn't allow for outdoor activities for my dogs, after exercise then we can practice tricks and train and of course then play with the toys of choice!!! My
