A bit about myself. I have just moved back to the US after 5 years away. Myself,my two furbabies and yes I did even bring my human daughter, we are a two for one deal and between the both of us are available on short notice. The two of us are not only passionate about animals but also advocates for animal abuse and neglect. In New Zealand we actually rehabilitated and re homed 14 dogs.I have over 20 years experience in Pet Care, Walking,Socializing,Pet Sitting, Vet Pick Up and Drop offs, Medication administration and even small issues you may be having with your FurBaby. I have also have followed and studied Dr Ian Billinghurst's nutrition beliefs/pet nutrition .When we take dogs for walks it is different from dog to dog and their needs. It could be anything from a walk around the neighborhood, to a hike in the woods, a ball session at the park and for those that love swimming well that is one of our favorites particularly if we have hiked to a swimming hole or falls. This mother/daughter power duo was amazing! Vacations are such a mixed bag because I can't stand leaving my beloved Chubs behind. We've had several people stay at home with him in the past, and Buffy and her daughter were the best by far. One of them stayed at home with him the whole time and they left our home immaculately clean (not to mention also watering plants, picking up mail, etc). They spent time with him before our vacation so they'd be a familiar face. And they know far more about dogs in general than most dog walkers/dog sitters. So if you're looking for someone who can help you breathe easy while you're away, look no further. They're fantastic!
Pixie did a wonderful job taking care of my two crazy dogs and cat. The dogs loved her right away and they connected very well. She understood my dogs and took wonderful care of them. I would highly recommend her.
Pixie is one of those individuals that can bond with a dog almost instantly. We own three dogs and by the end of her first meeting with them, they all can't seem to wait for her to come in contact with them. Massive tail wagging and licking seems to be their normal behavior. She has both the verbal and non-verbal skills with animals to put them at ease and work with them. I love the way she deals with our beloved pets.
Pixie is passionate about dogs and knowledgeable on their behaviour. She has given us great advise on training and doggy wellbeing. Our anxious mini Schnauzer who is very particular about the company he keeps loves her, as does our people loving Kelpie. I highly recommend her.
