Hi there 👋🏻 Thanks for checking out my profile. I grew up with 2 energetic Aussies, and have enjoyed dog sitting/walking, and house sitting while watching pets for over 9 years! I work from home and only leave for short trips to the office or to run a quick errand. My flexible schedule lets me spend most of the day with the pets I’m sitting. I won’t crate your pup while they’re in my care, unless you specifically request it. I have experience sitting a variety of types of dogs, and can handle your pup in a positive and affirming way with lots of treats, cuddles and love 💕

This was my first time using a house sitter on Rover, and Piper set the bar high! I was a bit nervous about leaving our older dog and puppy for three nights because they can be a handful, but Piper put me at ease by sending daily updates and pictures. She has such a calming presence, and both dogs took to her immediately. When we returned home, our house was super clean, and the dogs were happy! Thank you so much for everything, Piper!

Piper was a truly fantastic sitter for us while we were traveling! she stayed at our house for a week with our older dog and cat, both of whom have become slightly high maintenance as they've aged. Piper handled their idiosyncratic feeding needs flawlessly, and she showered both pets with love and affection the whole time we were gone. she sent us frequent updates and pictures, which we appreciated, and when we got home, it was clear that both pets were happy and calm... they likely didn't even care that we were had been away! :) Piper also took amazing care of our house, and it was immaculate when we arrived home. She was flexible when our flight home got delayed, so we didn't have to worry about getting home late. We will absolutely use Piper again if we travel, and we recommend her without reservation. we haven't traveled much since covid, and since we were home so much for so long, Harper (our dog) especially gets stressed out if she's alone for too long. She was totally chill and relaxed the whole time we were gone, and that gave us great peace of mind. Many thanks to Piper for her wonderful care!

I don’t have any breed, age or sex preferences, and won’t turn away any breed. Before you drop off your pup, it's important for me to know the following; - are they friendly with other dogs? - have they had any medical procedures or health issues in the past few months? - what are their eating habits like? - whether they would do well off-leash / recall - information for their regular veterinarian. Any commands or current training is helpful to know as well.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs for leashed and unleashed walks and hikes, playing and training in the backyard or going on outings to dog friendly spots around town. While staying at your house, I’ll keep things organized and tidy, and leave your space clean before you return. Housesitting is a great way to watch dogs who are more comfortable staying in their own homes. I have 8+ years of housesitting experience, so you can be sure I’ll take care of your pets and your home!

Availability
Working from home makes it easy to get out multiple times a day for different walks or hikes with your pup. While watching your pup, I’ll be sure they get at least two 30 minute walks, and if they’re up for it we may even take a longer hike at the trails nearby.
