Growing up my family raised and raced Alaskan Huskies and we had up to 36 dogs at a time. These dogs required constant exercise and care, but were always so happy to go out and do what they did best. Because these dogs were always so active they often required some home veterinary care, so I have some experience dealing with that. I also have experience dog sitting australian shepards and malamute huskies. Since these dogs also required so much exercise they kept me very active and they loved getting out and hanging with their people. I have lots of experience with other types of animal husbandry including small wild mammals, including porcupines, skunks, and badgers, which have fine tuned my self-awareness when dealing with animals and reading how they are responding to situations. I also have experience in dealing with birds including various raptors, as well as working in a marine lab where I learned some marine animal husbandry. Because of this variety of experience, I am able to approach any situation, good or bad, with animals with a unique perspective. I am very passionate about animals, and their care and well-being is my top priority.
