Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since 2016, but have always had my own. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, high energy dogs, diabetic cats, special diet pets, and even female dogs in heat. I believe that pets are apart of your family, and should be taken care of with the same care and attention as your children would receive, they’re like our children to some! I always make sure to follow directions left by pet owners to ensure I’m sticking to what the pet is used to and comfortable with in their routine. I always like to double check if there’s any behaviors, fears, triggers, or allergies that I should be aware of when looking after your pets.

Piper is amazing. Easily the best pet sitter I have ever had. She is timely, consistent, considerate and just a joy to meet. Piper left the best notes and the photos she sent were top notch. She kept sending photos of my kitties paws and that sent my heart through the roof. I hope to be able to work with Piper many times over. The girls loved her.
Piper has been a great communicator, and has given me confidence entrusting my home and cat to her care. I recommend her highly and hope she is available to help me the next time I am away from home.

Having a trusting relationship between myself, the pet parents, and the pets themselves is always a top priority to me! Being respectful of their homes, spaces, equipment, and of course their pets is something I take very seriously. Your pets are apart of your families, trusting someone to come in and keep your pet safe can be nerve wracking, building trust and providing safety and reassurance is something I pride myself in with my previous and future pet parents! Keeping your pet safe also extends to your house, and making sure things are properly locked up (double checked!) and secure anytime your space is unattended.

Are there any fears or behaviors I should know about? Doesn’t love other dogs? Kids aren’t their favorite friends? Gets excited when they spot a bird or squirrel on the walk?
A typical day
I love being able to get outside and work with the pets I care for mentally and physically. Getting to smell all the new things, or see all the places. Playing “find-it” games during drop in visits, tug o war, and fetch, and of course all the love & attention. With cats, playing with fishing pole toys, laser toys, and lots of love and attention, even if it’s from a distance (for the more shy or independent friends)
