Pet care experience
I started volunteering at Washington Animal Rescue League when I was 13 years old and continued working there through high school. I have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I am not afraid of caring for dogs that might be a challenge for others. I have spent my entire life around dogs (2 Standard Poodles, 1 Pointer Pit Mix, and 2 Goldendoodles) and currently own two adorable Goldendoodle named Charles Remy. I currently live in Georgetown and work from home. I have a fenced in backyard and live within five blocks of two large parks and a quarter mile walk from a fenced in dog park in Foggy Bottom. I take my dogs on walks every 2-3 hours so your pups will be sure to get plenty of exercise. There is a Veterinary office within 3 blocks from my house. I also have a large SUV if I need to transport your dogs for any reason.

My family was very happy with Pierce's housesitting. Our dogs were happy and healthy when we returned home, and that's the most important thing! Pierce was responsive: he always answered questions and requests for information quickly. He was responsible: he let us know that one of our dogs wasn't eating well, and we found a solution. He also went the extra mile by buying more dog food when it turned out that we hadn't provided enough. And he was reliable: he confirmed start and end dates and kept my small plants alive. I would hire Pierce again.
