Hello, My name is Phyllis. I am 26 years old. I am currently going to Northeastern Illinois University for my Bachelors Degree. I own two cats and a dog. I grew up with a variety of pets. My brother owns a blind, epileptic husky which I do watch over when he is in town. I love all breeds from small to big. I love taking them for walks and being overall active. I will follow their schedule if they have one If they need medicine or any other special requirements, I will be happy to do so. I would love to watch over and care for your pets. Thank you!

I am very hands on with my own pets, especially my dog. My dog is rarely outside by herself for a few minutes. I always watch her when she plays with her friend from next door. I have a fenced in yard that my 65lb leggy dog can’t escape from and we take extra measures to insure she can’t. I will follow any instructions and requests of the owner. I do not believe in physical punishment for animals and will work with how the owner believes in punishing them if necessary. Messes and other issues will happen and I do not get upset and let the dog know it’s okay and that it happens. I have experience from young to senior level of dogs and I know the work and effort.

I will like to know how well the dog is trained and if I should be training him/her. Also what type of food and treats are acceptable as well as if they have a schedule. I will like to know if the pet is taking any meds. I would like to know if the dog can play with other pets and what type of routine I may need to do. Also if the dog is special needs or needs any special attention or discipline. Whatever the owner would like me to do to take care of their dog to the best of my ability.
A typical day
I will take the dogs on walks to parks or to some sort of nice area. If it’s allowed to go to dog parks we will go there so they can be active with other dogs. Depending on how well the dog is trained we can play catch and do other exercises. I will also talk to the dog to see if they are having a good time as well as seeing if they need water or a break.
