About Me: I have been a dog lover all my life. I come from a long line of folks who treat their pets like family members; when your dog stays with me, they will receive the same care and attention that I've always given my own pets - I won't be staring at my phone while I walk your dog. I like to engage with the dogs I care for and build a trusting relationship with them, even if we're only together for a day or two. I frequently have my neighbors' dogs over when their humans are out of town. We go for walks together and hang out at local parks where we can run around and play fetch. We also enjoy snuggling up at home with a good chew toy and a fluffy blanket. I have cared for dogs of every size, shape, and age and I love them all! I am happy to accommodate the needs of any canine friend. For the comfort and safety of all involved, I do have a few requirements: - Meet & Greet prior to any daytime or overnight stay (No Exceptions)* - All stays must be fully booked and confirmed prior to arrival - Please provide all necessary items including leash and collar or harness, favorite toy, etc. - For stays longer than 5 hours, please provide dog food & bowl - Dogs must be picked up on the date originally agreed upon. I cannot accommodate last-minute stay extensions. *The Meet & Greet will give you and your pup a chance to confirm that I am a good fit. This is also a great way for us to ensure we are on the same page concerning your dog's needs so that everyone involved is as comfortable as possible going into the stay. About my home: I live in a large home with four wonderful friends and one pup. I can have dog-friendly pups over for daycare or overnight stays. All of my housemates are dear and trusted friends who loves dogs and will be thrilled for the additional four legged company. We have a large, fully fenced, grassy back yard that the pups can enjoy while they’re here, and two living rooms with couches that they are welcome on. If your pup feels safest with their crate available, I'm happy to set it up in my home - please let me know what your crate habits and preferences are if you plan to provide one for your dog's stay.
