I have had dogs my entire life and treasure them as my family. As a pet parent myself, I understand firsthand how important excellent care is for them while you're busy or away. I have experience caring for disabled dogs, including administering shots, medications, and special care, such as for my dog with MS. In addition to taking care of my own dogs, I have pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors for many years. I also volunteer at dog shelters, both during my time at Ohio University and in the Cincinnati area. In turn, I am experienced with caring for unfamiliar dogs of all sizes and sociability by walking them, playing with them, and cleaning up after them. At this time, I am able to walk dogs, do drop-in visits, house sit, and watch dogs at my house. I live alone in a cozy apartment above a large garage, with a spacious yard out front. My neighborhood is also super dog-friendly, safe, and perfect for walks. Since I have a dog and two cats, I ask that all dogs that come over are comfortable sharing a space with other animals. I prefer to meet other dogs on neutral territories, such as dog parks so that my dog Lucy feels comfortable with them.
