Pet care experience
I've always grown up with two dogs (bulldogs) in NJ. I moved out to San Francisco three years ago and my roommate of the past three years had a dog. I've helped take care of her dog, as well as my best friends dog when she traveled out of the city. My old roommate recently moved back to NY, so I miss having a dog!! I'm experienced in taking care of all kinds of dogs. My old roommates dog was very anxious and didn't warm to people easily, so I definitely know how to handle that kind of a situation. I also have experience with the many parks around San Francisco to bring dogs to. I've lived in North Beach, Nob Hill, and the Marina so I am an expert in finding the right parks and letting the dog enjoy the parks in the safest way possible.

Phoebe has taken care of my dog Koda for many walks, weekend trips, and days away. Koda is extremely sensitive and needy and Phoebe has found a way to connect with her. She grew up with dogs and knows how to handle them with compassion, care, and detail. I would always trust her with my dog!
Phoebe has been taking care of my dog Olive for almost 2 years now! She started walking her when she was just a puppy and now, Phoebe watches her for overnights while I'm out of town for work or vacations. I always receive lots of pictures and videos during their walks/overnights. Olive is also a little energizer bunny and Phoebe patiently plays fetch with her until she's calmed down to an indoor amount of energy. Phoebe is really a natural when it comes to dogs of all types and I can't stress enough what a reliable walker/sitter she is. Would highly recommend!

I am a runner and walker! I will walk or run with your dog (whichever you would prefer) for hours. I could be outside with them all day on the weekends as I prefer to sit on the beach or in parks when I have the time. My roommate used to have a dog who didn't like dogs that were smaller than it, but did like dogs that were larger than it. This was a bit hard to navigate in dog parks, but I've never had an issue with it. My best friends dog loves other dogs so this was never an issue.

A typical day
We will go on walks around your neighborhood! I like to find the local park to run around with the dog. We can play fetch or play with any type of toys your dog may have.

Availability
I work full time in downtown San Francisco Mon-Fri. My typical hours are 8AM-4PM but I have a scooter, so I am able to leave work for an hour or two at a time to tend to your dogs needs. During the work day I would be able to get to your dog three times a day at least. Once in the morning for a brisk walk and potty, once in the afternoon for potty outside, and once after work for potty and long walk/park. I would also be open to letting the dog out a fourth time later on in the night. Also, if you need more/less time I am flexible! The best situations will be when owners are away for the weekend (or long weekend).
