Pet care experience
Every dog I meet, I want to become their best friend! I'm currently an online student, so I have a very flexible schedule. After spending last summer and winter helping to take care of my brother's high-energy German Shepherd, I know how much exercise, attention, and love that even the most demanding dogs need. I also cared for a friend's Doodle for 3 months, doing in home visits, daily walks, and overnight care. Currently I am living with a pit bull/husky mix which I take on walks daily, groom, take hiking/skating and to dog parks! With my clients in Portland, I loved taking dogs through quiet NoPo neighborhoods, to Columbia and Fernhill Park, as well as hikes throughout Forest Park and the Gorge. I always leave time for quality playtime and practicing new tricks! Currently working in the Auburn/Tacoma/Seattle area, I also am offering drop-in visits and house sitting, and I have references from previous clients! I hope to meet your sweet pet soon, and thanks for reading. As I am currently a student, I have a month before classes start, so I have an open/flexible schedule including weekends! I sometimes have access to a car and can travel outside of Auburn, or via bus/train to Seattle or Tacoma. For me, gaining a pets trust is the first step: I speak to them so they can get used to my voice, and pet them lots so they can get used to my touch/smell! I take them out for bathroom breaks every 1-3 hours depending on your dogs needs. Walks at least once a day, as well as plenty of play time! Feeding on your dogs schedule.

Phoebe Anderson took care of our dog and cat, geese and chickens on several occasions when we travelled from Mount Vernon Washington to Costa Rica. We were out of the country for extended periods of time up to three weeks. Twice daily walks, play time and clean up, medication and baths were required. Additionally there were eggs to collect and numerous fruit trees to water. Housework included two homes and care for our aging cat. Phoebe took our dog on hikes and to her home. I highly recommend Phoebe.
Phoebe has loved dogs for the many years I’ve known her. She took care of Cobain (shepherd/Catahoula) for two weeks while I was away and I knew that he would would be well taken care of. I’d trust this amazing girl with him anytime!
