Unfortunately this dog-sitting yesterday did not go well. Phil asked to step out of the apartment to grab a bite in the middle, which left our dog at home alone for 30 minutes. During that time, our dog managed to snatch a container of cookies with dark chocolate in them off the counter and eat them all. Phil did not notice the empty and chewed up container under the dining table, which was an unpleasant surprise for me four hours later when I got back home. This resulted in calls to vets and poison control, and monitoring throughout the night and into today.

Philyne was great about sending us pictures while she was house sitting for us. The dogs looked happy and taken care of when we got home.
