Our home is very pet friendly! We have lots of open space, indoors and out. Your loved one will have the choice to play and socialize with two built in playmates: our own furry family members, Butterball and Kai. Butterball Gonzalez is a small wirehair terrier mix who loves canine company. Last January 2015, we adopted Kia, new pup from The Humane Society. Almost 19 months now, Kia Gonzalez is still puppy playful. He is clumsy, goofy and loves to engage in tug o war with anyone willing to play with him. He will go to his toy chest, get a toy, and set it at the feet of his intended amigo. (Man or beast; We don't believe Kai knows or cares about the difference.) I work from home and my wife, retired, also stays at home. We have twins, Briana (Butterball's mommy) and Brian, (Kai's pop). Together we are an animal loving family and enjoy making new friends! Feel confident that there will never be a time your little one is alone or unsupervised :) Before continuing, I want our clientele to know how serious we take our responsibility in caring for someone so close to your heart. From best friend, to baby of the family, we know first hand how important it is to KNOW your doggie is in good safe, more than competent and caring hands. That being said, we do require each guest to have, at minimum, current bordatella, distemper, and rabies shots. Most of our guest are spayed or neutered. If this is not the case with you doggie, please make this clear upon contacting us. We want to make sure our clients do not take home more than what they bargained for. We want to be able to take the proper precautions or inform you early on if we can not accommodate your needs. While we are experienced in administering medication accompanied with instructions, we do require your pets to be in good health. We can not take your loved one who has a communicable condition. We are unable to take a doggie ill to the point of needing care/monitoring under the expert guidance of a veterinarian or other professional. If love could cure all, this would be the place to bring an ailing pet. However- we are not medical professionals, and it would be unfair to present our services as such. Once we have established all the above mentioned vaccinations are current, and your doggie is in good health, we are good to move forward! About this sitter: I am a normal, down to earth guy. I put my family first in everything I do, and enjoy watching us do things together. Why I love dog sitting We have always been dog lovers, so much that Philip (Dad) and Briana are registered volunteers at our local Humane Society. Briana (our daughter) hopes to some day work in the dog care field as a Vet tech or run a home for stray animals. Meet my pets We have two little guys, Butterball and Kai. Kai has learned well from Butterball how to treat our guests with lots of love and lots of attention! About my yard We have a HUGE back yard. It it fenced in so no pooch can escape. Some have tried, but none have succeeded. The yard is fairly open. with one BIG tree in the center. We refer to it as "Town Hall". Much serious business is conducted at Town Hall. And what happens at Town Hall, stays at Town Hall. Or so our guest believe.....They are never unsupervised. At least a couple watchful eyes monitor and actively supervise all transitions and transactions. To be honest, we all love playing with our guest, inside and out. Outdoor play keeps them moving and able to express energy. Then again, we know not all needs are the same. Some patrons check in at Town Hall, have a look around, check p.mail, perhaps, and go right back inside to their chosen spots on cool tile, their blankets/ pillows, or sofa. Depending on aspects such as personality, "sibling stays," size, and energy level, we sometimes rotate in compatible groups to accommodate your pets' comfort levels and to ensure a happy experience. If your beloved likes to play with water, we have a wading pool available. A few wet hounds playing and splashing is quite the sight. We have a trampoline that EVERYONE loves to hang out on, and plenty of toys to keep your baby busy. Sleeping Arrangments: Your furry baby will sleep inside our home with your provided kennel, or bedding. If you and yours enjoy star-gazing , we also have an outdoor patio for camping out.
