I'm a navy veteran who has nothing but love and patience for dogs. I have my own 12 year old heeler mix named Kitty. She's a gentle old lady who I rescued (really.) from an auto salvage yard when she was just a puppy. I'm also step dad to an American Pitbull Terrier, Rat Terrier, and Poodle Terrier mix with ages ranging from 6 to 10 years. The Pitbull, Luna, is deaf and works well with my sign commands. The poodle gets liquid dose and pill oral meds everyday. They're all high energy dogs who need plenty of attention and exercise. Walks of at least a mile are normal and I can go as far as your pooch needs. Though I don't have professional experience, my time with Kitty and the bunch has taught me a lot over the years and my time in the Navy instilled my work ethic and reliability.
