Help! The kids are starting to go back to school and my wife might even be going back to work soon. Instead of spending all day at home alone until it is time to pickup from school, I would love to be playing and taking walks with some cool pups! 🐶 I have been doing this for quite some time and enjoy being around dogs of all ages and sizes. My Sam is now 15 and as much as I love him there is something rejuvenating about being around that big puppy energy! I am mostly servicing just the town of Merrimack and Amherst if it’s on the border. I am open to surrounding towns, depending on distance, time of day needed, etc. I set realistic expectations and never overpromise, because I refuse to take a gig if I don’t feel I can give a dog what they need. This why I also always insist on a complimentary meet & greet. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope to hear from you soon!

Phil took care of my two cats every day while my fiancée and I were on vacation - almost 3 weeks! Every day we looked forward to Phil’s notes and photos of our cats. He took such good care of them and we felt assured the whole time that they were being fed and loved. Highly recommend Phil for your pet needs, he’s awesome!
Phil was an absolutely incredible pet sitter for our senior cat, Ted. There were a few medications that needed to be administered, and a food schedule that had to be closely monitored, both of which Phil was able to do without question. He even offered to set up a meet and greet before we booked to ensure that it would be a good fit, not only with our cat, but with us humans as well, which was so truly appreciated. Our cat can be a bit shy at times, but he’s a good judge of character and warmed right up to Phil the first day he met him. Phil was also extremely generous with the notes and pictures that he would send us throughout the week, so we could have the peace of mind knowing that our cat was happy and healthy at home while we were on vacation. Words really can’t describe how thrilled we were with our experience, as I can honestly say that Phil will be the only sitter that we trust with our pets in the future - thank you again for everything!

I respect your home as my own when I am there. This is also why a complimentary meet & greet is imperative. I want to be able to come and go in a manner that leaves your dog(s) at ease with a visitor in their home. If I know the lay of the land and how you operate, it goes a long day in ensuring their comfort until I’ve become a familiar face. I do not currently offer boarding at my house. My wife and i have discussed doing so and will be in the near future once we have a large privacy fence installed for our entire backyard. We are also planning to have an in ground pool installed and other work done, so we don’t have a definitive date set for this yet.

I just ask that you let me know of any special needs your dogs might have or if there are any behaviors that I should be aware of. To me our pets are like kids. We all have our own parenting styles, no better or worse than anybody else’s as it is what suits us and our family. My goal is to mimic and be an extension of how you are with your dog as I feel that keeps them comfortable.
A typical day
I like to really just do whatever you tell me your dogs find enjoyable. I have had people leave me with their dogs favorite toys and have been in the backyard playing fetch for entire visits. I have also had other people tell me that their dogs want to go outside to do their business and then need a snuggle buddy on the couch for the entire rest of the visit. It is your dog’s time, so whatever they need in that time is your call!

Availability
I am typically available during the week from 830am - 2pm while the kids are at school. Everybody seems to want noon on the dot and I have built a schedule that centers around that. Please note that new bookings likely will be earlier or later than that as I am running a pretty full roster. Drop in visits for when people are away are something that I have to evaluate on a case by case basis. I have a very busy family life and will not put your dog in a situation where I am set to fail them. If I can meet their schedule needs, I will book with you. If my family commitments are not conducive to meeting all of your dog’s needs, I will politely decline.
