Pet care experience
We always had dogs when I was growing up and I've kept my love and respect for these amazing animals into adulthood. I retired from nursing a few years ago and so I've got the time to take several daily walks with Lucy, my six year old Staffordshire cross, and I know a large number of country walks in the local area, though we do like to explore new places. I can walk alone with your dog(s), or we can bring Lucy with us (either way, she'll still get her walks). If you live within 30 minutes' walk of my house, I'll leave the car at home, but if you're a little further away (up to 5 miles), I'll drive to you if you can't drop off/pick up. I have a clean license and will only transport dogs with a body harness I can attach to the seat belt. If your dog likes a particular local area, we can go there, otherwise I'll introduce them to some of the great places we've found over the years.

Wilf is on the sofa pooped after a busy day playing and walking with Phil and Lucy the dog!
Really well. She didn’t have her dinner but that’s ok- I think in future I will stick with Phil. He & his family are very capable & caring around animals and Molly is quite taken with Lucy(Phil ‘s dog )

A typical day
We typically go for a walk in the morning and another in the afternoon, each walk lasting approximately an hour and a half to two hours, sometimes longer. We usually cover up to about 5 miles per day. We always go to rural areas and often off the beaten track. At home, we play hide and seek with toys and treats, have cuddles and relax. Naps are allowed.
