I specialize in large dog care, but don't worry - I can care for small dogs just the same! I have lots of experience with leash reactivity as well as mobility and anxiety issues in large dogs. As a scientist at an animal health company, I bring my passion for animal care and my scientific knowledge together to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of animals. I have a lifelong love of pets, particularly dogs. Growing up, I cared for my family's Australian shepherds and cattle dogs, Stewart, Stanley, and Violet - regularly walking, grooming and taking care of them while my parents were away. As an adult, I have continued to care for dogs, including an 11-year-old German shepherd mix (Trinity) who we adopted 3 years ago. Trinity is aversive to other dogs on our walks, so I have a ton of experience with avoiding stressful or dangerous situations with large dogs. I also grew up with multiple cats and am happy to do drop-in visits in your home while you are away. I have lots of experience watching friends' cats, stopping in to keep them company, feed them, and change the litter box so I am happy to help.
